He has earned his best reviews for his portrayal of an unapologetically wily and relentless businessman in Guru, followed by his impeccable comic timing in the super hit bromance flick Dostana. Laurels were also showered on him for his sensitive performance as the loving and dedicated husband in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna.

Abhishek Bachchan, who was in Indore recently, spoke about how he feels that there's scope for him to improve and evolve as an actor.

Have you ever been to Indore before?
I used to come to Bhopal to visit my grandmother, and Indore was one of the places where our flight used to land. My cousins were studying at Daly College in the city, so we used to come to Indore to meet them. I think the city is developing at a rapid rate.

You are soon to become a father, have you become more responsible and mature?
I believe that till the time the child is not in your arms there will be no change in you. The minute your child is in your hands, the whole world changes for you. Recently when I spoke to my brother–in-law, Nikhil Nanda. He asked me the same thing, that do I feel mature, but I replied the same thing. If there has to be any change in me, then it will happen only after the birth of the child.

Abhishek has recently hired a PR firm of his own – Amitabh and Aishwarya use different publicists. It was time the youngest Bachchan did that – even diplomatic Devgn remarked on Koffee With Karan that Abhishek needed a new PR professional. Meanwhile, Abhi too, has accepted that aggressive promotions are the norm of the day before a release.

His Dum Maaro Dum may not have set the box office on fire but it certainly has fetched one of the better responses, both commercially as well as critically, when compared to his last few films like Game, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se and Raavan. Now that there is an element of resurrection coming in, Abhishek can be found in a joyous mood while shooting for Players in Russia.
