In the end, it had nothing to do with shubh muhurts and phases of the moon. Amitabh Bachchan went home when he felt comfortable, not when astrologers told him to. And he is very happy with the way things turned out.

"No, we did not consult an astrologer," Abhishek Bachchan told HT on Saturday evening. "It was more about when dad was comfortable coming out (of hospital)."

Vashu was driving his ailing mother to the hospital amidst heavy traffic. Abhishek, who was returning from the hospital himself, after seeing his father, happened to see Bhagnani. Without wasting any time, he immediately rushed Vashu's mother to the hospital.

Not only that, he was with Vashu throughout and kept enquiring about her health even after he left. Fortunately, Vashu's mother is out of danger now. Vashu gets extremely emotional talking about the incident. He was very touched. So were we!
