Gone is his brooding persona of yore and a resplendent smile is always lingering on the face of Abhishek Bachchan nowadays. Call it the effect of his career success last year (after a long series of failures) or his finding love on the personal front.

This newfound cool persona of Abhi has made him in demand among the companies who now want him to be the brand ambassador for their products.

Recently, Abhishek was appointed as brand ambassador for LG home appliances.

While shooting for an LG commercial recently, director Pradeep Sarkar made sure that Abhishek’s cool image came through in the ad.

According to the director, Abhishek gives out freshness and his cool image goes perfectly with the products in the commercial, namely air conditioner, refrigerator, washing machine and microwave.

The ad shows Abhi planning a home for his dream girl. The home includes the abovementioned appliances. While shooting the ad, the director made sure to maintain a light atmosphere on the sets with background music. Then he kept the camera rolling without Abhi knowing it. In this way, he was able to get the natural shots of cool Abhi. These shots are included in the final ad.

Abhi's contract with LG is for a period of two years. During this time the actor will feature in print and television ads, road shows and strategic events.
