Mithun Chakraborty, who will be joining the cast of Mani Ratnam's 'Guru' from May 15, will be sporting a brand new look for the film.
"Yeah, I have cut my hair very short in the film," said Mithun, who is currently shooting in Sikkim. The 80s superstar will be playing the owner of a newspaper in the film, which is currently being shot in Karnataka and Chennai.
Raj Babbar's son Arya Babbar, who had a high profile launch in Raj Kanwar's AB KE BARAS opposite Amrita Rao, has been signed to play the third vital lead in Mani Ratnam's GURU. Abhishek Bachchan and Madhavan head the cast, while the search for the third lead was a big suspense. The role is that of Ash's brother in the film, who happens to be Abhishek's best friend as well.
Renowned director Rakesh Mehra says he has convinced Bollywood's First Family, the Bachchans (the megastar Amitabh, his wife Jaya and their son Abhishek), to star together in his ambitious new project Bhairavi.
"I have already narrated the story to Amitji (Amitabh) and Abhishek. They're on. I'm ready to make the film as soon as the dates have been worked out. One thing's for sure, Bhairavi has to be made only with Amitji, Abhishek and Jaya," he proclaims.

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan are currently in Bagalkot, North Karnataka, shooting for Mani Ratnam's Guru. The area is also the location of historical sites like Badami, Aihole and Pattadakal. Abhishek plays the role of a legendary hero of the 1857 Mutiny.
