Star Plus, the leading general Hindi entertainment channel showers the viewers with a lot of excitement this June as it gears up to show one of the biggest blockbusters of 2005, Bluffmaster, on June 18 at 12 p.m.

Bluffmaster is the story of Roy, a professional conman who is true about only one thing in life, his love for Simmi. But on finding out the truth about Roy's profession she leaves him for ever. This leaves Roy completely devastated. To add to his problems he meets Dittu, an amateur conman who is desperately trying to be a conman. Roy takes up the task of teaching him how to be one. Suddenly, fate plays a very cruel trick on him and he is left with no alternative but to reveal his true self.

The movie pays endearing tribute to the city of Mumbai as well - with the entire movie being shot in the city. There is a scene in the film where Roy and Dittu attempt a con in the cinema hall Maratha Mandir, the movie playing is the, director Ramesh Sippy's (director Rohan Sippy's father) hit film Shaan, also, the movie that is being played in the cinema hall has Abhishek Bachchan's father Amitabh Bachchan playing one of the lead role. In another scene when Roy's car is stolen by Dittu, Roy boards a taxi that has a number plate of MH-O1-9211, which is a reference to the other Ramesh Sippy Productions Movie under production at that time Taxi No. 9211.
