Yash Raj Films is all set to recreate ‘dhoom’ in the Indian film industry this coming year. The Bollywood major is planning to release at least six to seven films next year.
The films that are lined up are: Tara Rum Pum, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Chak De India and Chudiyan (working title). Apart from this, Madhuri Dixit’s comeback movie directed by Anil Mehta is also in the pipeline.

Writer-director Karan Razdan, whose last two films Eight and Umar failed to ring at the box-office, is readying to return with a mammoth historical film, Buddha.
Says Razdan, "The scripting of Buddha is almost complete. It would be made in English and Hindi. Talks are on with major corporate companies to back the project. It will be an international project from the land where Buddhism originated. It will be more of science fiction and will star Indian, Hollywood and European actors."

After 'Bhagam Bhag', the next big film in the pipeline is Mani Ratnam's 'Guru' that releases on 12th January.
Though the music of the film is already topping the charts, the team of 'Guru' went ahead and composed two more songs for the film, one of which is already on air. Titled 'Dhoom Dhadaka', this A.R. Rahman composed song plays as a background piece during the dramatic moments of the film.
A fast paced vociferous track with a thumping appeal, it reminds one of 'Dhakka Laga Bukka' from 'Yuva' that was on similar lines.
