DHOOM 2 is on a record-breaking spree. The first week collections have started pouring in and the results clearly prove that it’s Yash Raj’s biggest opener to date. As of now, this writer has received the collections of four circuits - Mumbai, East Punjab, C.P. Berar and C.I. and the first week figures are out of the world!

Meanwhile, DHOOM 2 is rock-steady on the first day of second week [Friday, 1st December] and the second weekend is expected to be excellent yet again. However, Yash Raj and PVR haven’t reached a consensus yet, which means that the film is not playing at the multiplexes for the second week now. While the multiplexes may have lost out on footfalls, Yash Raj too has lost out on substantial revenue [approx. Rs. 2 crores] due to this reason.
