Abhishek Bachchan is in no mood to discuss weddings. Neither Liz Hurley’s nor his own. Instead, he’s happy to hold forth on a host of other interests.

Speaking of interests, industry buzz has it that he will soon be hosting a television show produced by AB Corp.

But AB’s baby insists, “Oh, these are all rumours. I’ve lots to do on bada parda and have no time for the chhota parda.” But he is very happy with big sister Shweta Nanda’s small-screen appearance. “I’m immensely proud of her. She shows honesty, sincerity and dedication. She is the future of Indian journalism,” he enthuses.

What about his own achievements? Abhishek is all modesty and maintains that he has got more than his deserved share of praise after Guru. “I didn’t expect people to say so many good things about it.”

Okay, so no discussing the ‘M’ word. But any words of consolation for those countless female fans? “Thank you. What else?”
