Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, his wife Jaya, son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya arrived here on Friday to pay obeisance at the Golden Temple and the Durgiana temple.

Sources said the family is here to offer prayers at the shrines after the demise of the actor's mother Teji Bachchan.

It's been a trying time for the lead pair of Dilli 6. First Abhishek Bachchan lost his grandmother and had to rush back from Jaipur to Mumbai. Then Sonam Kapoor, with whom director Rakeysh Mehra was doing solo shots in Abhishek's absence, lost her grandfather (her mother's father) and had to return to Mumbai too.

Producer Shristi Behl Arya says, “It’s untrue. We are not re-shooting. I have just finished shooting a week back, and am now waiting for post production to start. There are lots of visual effects in the film which takes a long time to complete.”

Regarding the release date (June 27) given by Eros, Shrishti says, “I have not given that date. Eros International would be the right people to answer this. I want to finish the post production before I can come up with a release date.”
