SARKAR RAAJ in 2008 second half?

Would SARKAR RAAJ further get postponed and release only in the second half of 2008?

That's the speculation going amongst Bollywood followers who strongly feel that this Ram Gopal Varma film would get itself to the perfection mark before it even looks at freezing its release date.

While the film already finds itself being pushed all the way towards the month of May with no definite date in mind, there is one more factor which contributes towards a later release date. This factor is DRONA which has already decided 27th June as the day it plans to arrive.

Since Abhishek Bachchan is a common factor in both the films, it would be foolhardy to have two of his major films to come so close to each other.
Moreover, DRONA is a prestigious project and a Abhishek solo which means that for the young actor, the film would warrant quite a dedicated effort for publicity and promotion.

In any case, with SARKAR RAAJ being a family affair, it is bound to take a bumper opening whenever it arrives! In such a scenario, a film which is expected to move aside is SARKAR RAAJ.
