My most favourite Valentine couple this year will have to be Abhishek and Aishwarya. In one year of marriage she has blended so beautifully in the Bachchan fabric. It’s hard for an outsider to imagine a time when she wasn’t one of the Bachchans.

When around her parents-in-law Aishwarya becomes the dutiful Bahu, looking into the minutest details of the household without making a song and dance of it. When with her husband Aishwarya is just so unobtrusively spousal it’s amazing. Whenever she joins her husband on an outdoors she ceases to be Aishwarya Rai and becomes Mrs Abhishek Bachchan.

That is why when stories of the couple buying their own place came out, there was a feeling of incredulous hilarity among their friends. “Ash would never separate Abhishek from his parents. It would be completely out of character for her. She’s as family-oriented as he is.”
In the way she has moulded herself to the requirements of her marriage, and in the way she puts her own indomitable stardom on the backburner to be the the junior Mrs B at Jalsa Aishwarya reminds me of Tina Munim, now Mrs Anil Ambani for years, who divorced herself completely from her stardom for love and marriage.

So guys it’s final. Though I find Saif and Kareena amazingly in love my most favourite couple this Valentine is Aishwarya and Abhishek.
My second-favourite couple this Valentine will have to be Hrithik and Sussanne. To them infidelity is what some of their colleagues do to damage their togetherness. No one in the Roshan household mentions the yucky passé ‘i’ word.
