Abhishek Bachchan did an impromptu gig with a local band on his Drona schedule

Abhishek Bachchan loves hip-hop and R&B music. The actor has a huge collection of the latest hot and happening tunes on his iPod. But the unit of Drona saw a very different side of the actor during his schedule in Austria.

Kareena Kapoor’s present beau Saif Ali Khan and former flame Shahid Kapoor will be together in The Unforgettables tour of the Bachchans (Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya).

The series of concerts by Wizcraft will unfold in July-August across US and Europe.

After Akshay Kumar, who earlier opted out, rejoined the tour (‘Akki nakki’; Hitlist, April 25), the Bachchans roped in the two stars to join in.

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan are quite excited about their first wedding anniversary on April 20. The couple, we hear, is planning a holiday to Miami in the first week of April.

But, the second honeymoon just might turn into a family holiday."Ash will be going to Miami with Abhishek. Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan might join the couple too."

Amitabh Bachchan, who has played many roles in his nearly 40-year career, has been given the daunting task of acting son Abhishek’s grandfather in Rakeysh Mehra’s semi-autobiographical film Dilli 6. Shooting for this special cameo written for Big B by Mehra will be done in May.

After Dilli 6, Mehra has plans of casting Big B in his next film Paanch Kaurav.

Guru, which most consider your finest performance to date, came at the start of 2007. Do you think it was forgotten at the awards nights at the end of the year?

Why do you say that? Rang De Basanti had also been released in January. Awards are no doubt very encouraging. But there have been many notable films in the past that haven't won awards...

Now that Dilli 6 is nearing completion, there are many stories about it that can be told. Rakeysh Mehra's favourite story at the moment is about Aamir's wife Kiran Rao who came to the rescue of Dilli 6 at the moment of a grave crisis.

"My First Assistant Director who has her family in the US had a family crisis and had to leave immediately. There we were, without a first AD with 22 actors on location in Jaipur.."

While actress Lara Dutta has opted out of the Bachchans' 'Unforgettable Show' world tour because of her knee injury, Akshay Kumar has decided to join it, though he will perform only at select venues.

The show's organisers Wizcraft are now in the process of finalising seven to eight big stars from Bollywood to accompany Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan, and Aishwarya Rai at various venues in July and August.
