LEADER ACT: Amitabh Bachchan to play the role of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Dhaka: Superstar Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek have tentatively agreed to ac in a film based on the life of Bangladesh's founding leader, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, local media said on Thursday.

Vidya Balan will be the leading lady of the Cheeni Kum director's next film. Pa, the next one to be made by ad filmmaker R Balakrishnan, has Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan playing father and son.

Mani Ratnam's is not the only Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan film in the works.

Talk is that Chennai-based adman, cinematographer and director Rajiv Menon has zeroed in on the star couple in his second Hindi project tentatively titled Dhun. According to our source, Abhishek and Aishwarya have been finalised for Rajiv’s movie, which will be produced by Eros Entertainment.

Dhaka, May 01: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his celebrity family members have all tentatively agreed to take part in a film based on the life of Bangladesh`s founding leader, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, local media said on Thursday.

Amitabh will take the role of Mujib in the film, named "The Poet of Politics," while his son Abhishek Bachchan will act in the role of a young Mujib, Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury, the producer of the film, reporters.

The promotions of the much awaited film of the year Sarkar Raj have been advanced and will now start from 4th May. They were scheduled to start on 11th May. With Tashan crashing at the box office and multiplexes not screening the film, Z Picture Company, who own the marketing and distribution rights of Sarkar Raj are pushing it to fill the yawning gap.
