Abhishek Bachchan, like the Big B before him, is taking to television in a big way.

He recently utilised the home medium to promote his new film with three appearances in a week. The first one was on Bigg Boss, followed by an appearance with dad for the music reality show Junoon. Also, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and Balika Vadhu on Colors. “Television is the single-most accessible medium of communication. Today, if you truly believe in a film, television appearances are mandatory. The wonderful thing about television is that every show is unique. My first experience on television left me no room for complaint.”

About TV offers, he says, “I’m getting seriously tempting offers to do game shows. Television and cinema are in the same line of vision. Only the format is different. For films, audiences come to the theatre. On television, we go into people’s homes. Yes, I’m getting wonderful offers. And I don’t mind doing television.”
