MUMBAI: Celebrities today, lord over every single field in our country, from Bollywood to Politics - celebrities are omnipresent. CAT [Celebrity Content, Acquisitions & Talent], a new crack team & division set up by MTV, aims to leverage their existing celebrity & industry relationships to newer heights.

The focus will be to move from being not just a Bollywood & Pop platform but to make MTV the singular destination for all celebrities and talent. MTV kick starts this new division with a 'quasi-reality’ mini - series featuring all the stars of the movie Dostana; a Dharma Production movie staring Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, Priyanka Chopra & Bobby Deol.

Tarun Mansukhani, Karan Johar's assistant, directs Dostana. The filming began in March 2008 in Miami, Florida and USA. Dostana is the first Bollywood film to be set entirely in the Miami.

It is based on the story of two guys trying to rent an apartment in Miami. Sameer (Abhishek Bachchan) works as a male nurse in St Steve’s Hospital and Kunal (John Abraham) is a photographer.

After Desi Girl, it's now time for Shilpa Shetty to Shut Up and Bounce. That's the song in Tarun Mansukhani's Dostana that will air soon.

Producer Karan Johar says, "Shilpa has done a sizzling job but the credit also goes to Tarun and Vaibhavi Merchant (choreographer). Composed by Vishal-Shekhar, the track is an introductory song picturised on the film's stars John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan in Miami.

Mani Ratnam's untitled film starring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will finally take off after on October 29 after Diwali.

The first major schedule with AbhiAsh was supposed to start on October 12 a day after Amitabh Bachchan's birthday. But the Big B fell ill the morning before the shooting, leaving his son and bahu with no choice but to cancel the shoot.

Dilli 6 starring Sonam Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan is done with it’s shoot and is currently in its post production stage. The actors are busy dubbing and the director is looking forward to finish with his editing work. “If I am happy with the edit, I will start promoting the film in December”, said Rakeysh Mehra whose film is slated to release in February.

After a break of three weeks, Abhishek Bachchan and his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will resume shooting for Mani Ratnam's new film, Ravan, after Diwali.
The couple will fly to Kerala-- where the shoot is taking place -- on October 29.
