IDEA Cellular's brand campaign with brand ambassador Abhishek Bachchan has been adjudged the 'Best Celebrity Endorsement of the Year' at the first edition of NDTV Tech Life Awards.

The trophy was jointly received by Bachchan and IDEA Cellular chief marketing officer Pradeep Shrivastava.

First he played a 64-year-old man in love with a 34-year-old woman (Cheeni Kum), then a 60 something man falling for an 18-year-old nymphet (Nishabd). Amitabh Bachchan seems to be getting increasingly experimental. Now he is to play a 13-year-old son to Abhishek Bachchan and Vidya Balan in Balki’s Paa. Few know about Amitabh’s new challenge in Paa in which his character suffers from Progeria, a rare genetic disorder.

I still remember that evening when Mr Bachchan called to say his son had got engaged.

Two years ago on this day a certain Abhishek Bachchan married a certain Aishwarya Rai. The two celebrated their first anniversary together in Miami. This year they were supposed to be together in Kerala on the sets of Mani Ratnam’s Raavan. But now with Mani in hospital following “chest pain and breathing problem”, AbAsh may well celebrate the special day in Mumbai. Any special plans for your second marriage anniversary?

An anniversary is always special for everyone but if I tell you my plans my wife would get angry. We will be working with Mani (Ratnam).

Most talked about married couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai won’t be in India for their second wedding anniversary Monday. They have taken off on a week-long holiday to an undisclosed destination.
