He is not moving out, says Abhishek Bachchan, quashing reports that he and wife Aishwarya are shifting from the Bachchan home Jalsa to a new house that, incidentally, would make them neighbours of Ash’s ex Salman Khan.

The house in question is named Naivedya, located on Carter Road in Mumbai’s upscale Bandra. There is a building coming up right next door, where Salman owns two floors. Several reports have claimed that Abhishek-Aishwarya would finally shift out of Jalsa, though in the past they have said that they never would leave the family home.

But when HT City asked Abhishek on his recent Delhi visit how the new house was being done up, he looked foxed. “Which new house?” he asked, sounding utterly surprised. Naivedya, on Carter Road, we said. “I don’t have a house there. Where did you hear that?” asked the star, still perplexed. Erm, what about the buzz then? Our man smiled and said, “At least, I’m not aware of any such house that my family owns.” So for now, Aby Baby is staying put with Baba.
