Paa is going to set a record in the Guinness Book of World Records as the only film in the world featuring the real-life father son duo in a role reversal on-screen.

Paa, the movie has a star cast of Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan in son and father roles respectively, while in real the relation is just the opposite. So the uniqueness in the role reversal thing is one of its kinds in any movie worldwide. That’s the reason Paa found a place in the records books.Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are also to get place in Guinness Book as the only father-son duo to have played role reversal in a movie.

Director Balki is pretty excited about the unprecedented events related to Paa. He says, “You know, while casting and all through the shooting, I never sat back to consider the uniqueness of the casting. It was only the people all around me who seemed to be constantly conscious of the casting oddity. To me Amitji, Abhishek and Vidya were playing the roles I had in mind for them from the start. But now, I do see that the casting is exceptional. It hasn’t been done in any part of the world. So yes, plans are afoot to enter Paa into theGuinness book in various categories.”

With so much of efforts put into the making of such a beautiful film, the special accolades are surely to come across. Paa had its own share of public attention and love with its unique storyline and characters expecially the protagonist Auro. Well you don’t see generally a 67 year old actor playing a 13-year son and a 32-year old actor playing father to the kid.
