Abhishek Bachchan, the handsome hunk of bollywood who rocked with his father Amitabh Bachchan in Balki’s latest flick ‘Paa’ and is going to host the game show ‘National Bingo Night’ on colors from 23rd January, has gotten some valuable tips from his legendary father.

The first advice from Big B to Abhishek Bachchan is to be nice to participants on the show. They should be treated with respect and hnour and there should not be any arrogance on his part that he was a star and the other person was a layman. The second gem came from Big B that Abhishek should make comfortable the participants if he wants to get the best out of them, and in the processs should also be himself comfortable.

The third and the last piece of instruction from Amitabh Bachchan is to enjoy the game while hosting it. Amitabh made it clear to Abhishek that the audience would enjoy his anchoring only if he enjoyed it while hosting. If the anchor enjoys the game, he becomes not only keenly involved but also radiates positive energy towards the audience.

Sources close to Bachchans say that Amitabh wants to ensure that Abhishek Bachchan’s debut on television with Bingo attracts as much eyeballs as possible. To this end, Big B is not only appearing on the show as first guest, but has also been training Abhishek Bachchan for the upcoming job on television.

Big B has been veteran of game shows like ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ and ‘Bigg Boss’, and so he should know better. Both the above mentioned shows had attracted record eyeballs and changed the economy and scale of entertainment on television for ever.


However, Abhishek Bachchan, who is going to host ‘National Bingo Night’, is not overtly worried about the whole thing of being compared with his father Big B. In fact, the suave actor is clear in his mind that though he would like to be compared to Big B, as he was the best in business, but knew in his heart that he would not be able to touch the height of Big B’ achievements.

In the meantime, Abhishek Bachchan has denied any plans of taking more assignments on television. The young and dashing actor thinks that one experiment on television was enough for this year, and afterwards he would like to return to shooting schedules for ‘Crooked’, ‘ Raavan’ and Ashutosh Gowarikar’s next venture.
