After director Mani Ratnam watched the final version of his film “Raavan”, he apparently wasn’t happy with the way a few scenes had shaped up. So he wanted to reshoot them.
He immediately called up all his actors and a quick shoot was planned. The scenes were reshot in Polachi and the entire schedule was completed in four days.
Mani is now happy with the final version of the film which is all set to release in June this year.
Mani is a task master and a perfectionist. He wants the film to be completely fine else he reshoots the scenes. So the actors were prepared when Mani called them for the shoot. No one said that he was busy and allotted the earliest dates to him.
“Raavan” stars Abhishek and Aishwarya in the lead and has simultaneously been shot in Hindi and Tamil.
