After Raavan, Abhishek Bachchan is looking forward to action in his forthcoming films now. While he will be doing hardcore action films, he will also be balancing it with three comedy ventures.

There’s Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se, which is based on the Chittagong Uprising. Abhishek Bachchan is essaying the role of freedom fighter Masterda Surya Sen. Then he has Abhinay Deo’s Game, where he has performed some slick technically precise stunts. There’s also Rohan Sippy’s Dum Maro Dum. Another sequel to a sequel, Dhoom 3, is also about to begin. “Dhoom 3 is being scripted. Dhoom is nothing without Uday and my character. Uday Chopra and I are the film’s backbone.”

He’s also geared up for a complete change of pace with three comedies — Dostana 2 to be directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Anees Bazmi’s remake of Hangover with Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh and Katrina Kaif, and Vipul Shah’s next. Abhishek, who is looking forward to Tarun Mansukhani’s Dostana sequel reveals it’s going to be more hilarious than the first part. “Personally I am not the one for sequels. I feel that some films should be left alone but when Tarun narrated the script I could not stop laughing. In this movie you will get to see more of John Abraham’s butt,” he laughs. “If you think Dostana was funny, this is definitely more hilarious. I start shooting next month,” he adds.

“As an actor I am excited as I am passionate about cinema but at the same time I am very critical of myself. I am very impatient, the day I feel I do not want to experiment and be complacent that will be the end of me. Hence, I have to be busy,” he says.
