One must say, director Rajkumar Santoshi sure knows how to move on and utilise his time productively.

Despite the fact that his film Power is having problems, he has decided to make a quickie in the interim. Santoshi is reviving his film Ladies and Gentleman for which he had finalised Abhishek and Aishwarya Bachchan. The film will go on the floors soon. Abhishek has reportedly signed on the dotted line but whether Ash has also agreed remains unclear.

In the meanwhile his multi-starrer Power which was launched with great fanfare is still having problems. The film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor and a couple of leading actresses was stuck after Ajay Devgn walked out of the film as he no longer wanted to do multi starrers.

Our source said, “Santoshi tried his best to convince Ajay to get back in the project. But he didn’t agree. Both of them have a very warm relationship but Ajay didn’t want to do it.” So while the producers of Power zero in on their star cast, Santoshi is getting ready to direct Ladies and Gentleman. Santoshi was also considering a sequel to his hit film Andaz Apna Apna with Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. And though the two stars are good friends, the sequel plans don’t seem to have taken off.
