Never mind if Abhishek Bachchan's Drona , the magical film failed to weave it's magicat the BO. The guy has gained more from it as an actor than he can truly imagine. Apparently, Abhi was made to attend a great many workshops, and got trained in several stunts.

"There was a lot of training involved because the nature of the film required a lot of physicality, a lot action... So five-to six months prior to the film, I trained for horse riding, scuba diving, sword fighting, wire work - something I haven't done a lot of... The toughest training of the lot was watching cartoons. Goldie made me promise that I'd watch an hour of cartoons everyday, because as a director, he was greatly inspired by the comic book art form. That was tough but fun - taking out one hour daily was tough but once you put the TV on, it was great fun. It took me straight to my childhood days and actually some kiddie channels are still running some the Tom and Jerries we used to watch as kids," smiles Abhishek.

So with ash having learnt sword fighting as well, for her film Jodhaa Akbar , does the handsome couple indulge in sword fighting competitions back home? "I first learnt fencing in drama class at school, because that was our curriculum in movement class, but the sword fighting in Drona was of a different kind, it with the broad sword...So it was a different method, and a different experience. Aishwarya first learnt sword fighting, I believe, for her film The Last Legion , and interestingly the sword master who taught her taught us as well. Mr. Richard Ryan who has done a lot of good work in the West choreographed the fight sequences and trained us in sword fighting. But no, there's no sword fighting at home... we're very peace loving, you see!" says Abhi, giving us once again that peaceful smile!
