Actor Abhishek Bachchan turns 36 today.

Father Amitabh Bachchan and B-town friends sent strength and love to the dashing actor.

Some friends wished him a "superlative year", while others called him "elder brother" and the "coolest" person.

Abhishek Bachchan turns 36 today. This day last year, he was in Wellington filming Players, the Indianised remake of The Italian Job. It was a working birthday for Junior B, but wife Aishwarya had flown down to New Zealand and was by his side when he cut a three-tiered chocolate cake on the sets.

Abhishek Bachchan couldn't have asked for more. The actor will be honoured for his efforts towards creating a greener environment at a function here and Hollywood action hero Arnold Schwarzenegger will present him the award.

Abhishek Bachchan, who was in Indore recently, spoke about how he feels that there's scope for him to improve and evolve as an actor.

Have you ever been to Indore before?
I used to come to Bhopal to visit my grandmother, and Indore was one of the places where our flight used to land. My cousins were studying at Daly College in the city, so we used to come to Indore to meet them. I think the city is developing at a rapid rate.
