AR Rahman, who has been too busy attending award ceremonies and honorary functions after the world wide recognition for his musical endeavor in ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, has forced the producers of ‘Delhi-6’ to shift the release date by a month.

Grapevine has it that Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra ‘s ‘Delhi-6’ was slated for release on Feb 20, but the date had to be postponed by a month because Rahman was held-up attending other events.

A source from the unit of ‘Delhi 6’ informed a news daily saying, "The major reason for the film`s delay is music maestro AR Rahman. He has still not completed the background music of the film. Rahman has been busy attending the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles. And now with the SAG Awards happening in the US as well, Rahman has not been able to dedicate enough time to ‘Delhi-6’. With less than a month left now for the announced date of release, it seems less likely that the Oscar nominee will be able to complete it on time. Also, Rakeysh Mehra being a stickler for perfection didn`t want a hurried job from Rahman."

Well, what can we say; Rahman is the talk of the town!
