This is one 'dostana' that is seeing constant flip-flop for itself over the year gone by. However as things stand today, there is stability after all with the film coming back on track. Though there were rumours around the film being shelved, the fact is that none of that is true and India's first contemporary gay romcom is pretty much on Karan Johar's radar.

Dostana 2 director Tarun Mansukhani has confirmed that the long-delayed film is still going ahead.

"Dostana 2 is very much on," he told the Mumbai Mirror. "The film stars Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Katrina Kaif."

The shooting of John Abraham-Abhishek Bachchan starrer gay comedy 'Dostana 2' has been pushed for next year but producer Karan Johar is confident that they will be able to release the film as per schedule.

Filmmaker Karan Johar says rumours about Aishwarya Rai dissuading husband Abhishek Bachchan from working with Katrina Kaif were baseless and ridiculous and that the movie is set to roll filming next year.
