From all the new things Abhishek attempted for his film Drona, what came to him very naturally was riding the horse. Those who have seen the film will vouch for the fact that Abhishek looks convincing and comfortable as he is speeding on the horse. Especially the scene where he rescues the horse from a running train forms the highlight of the film. The action sequence was shot in Namibia and Abhishek rode a horse named Whisky.
Goldie Behl's Drona has a lot of special effects and has been shot in Prague, Rajasthan and Mumbai. So a lot of props of the film had to be transported across various destinations. Since the Prague schedule had to be cut short because of bad weather, the same ambience was recreated in the interiors in Mumbai for the balance portions.
