PepsiCo's mango drink Slice, which had associated with Jhoom Barabar Jhoom via a contest, has now announced the winner.

The winners of the contest called 'Jhoom Barabar - Slice Uthakar' got an exclusive opportunity to watch a special screening of the movie - Jhoom Barabar Jhoom with Abhishek Bachchan. The special screening took place at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai.

Copies of a Bollywood film featuring a Southall (London) wheeler-dealer character who sells pirated DVDs were among illegal copies seized in the town.

A joint investigation by Ealing Council Trading Standards officers and the Police led to a haul of films and music CDs with a street value of around £15,000.

Despite mixed reviews, Abhishek Bachchan is nevertheless gung-ho about his recently released film "Jhoom Barabar Jhoom".

"Even while we were shooting 'Jhoom', we knew the humour in the movie, so unprecedented, would take time to find its groove among the audiences," Abhishek told IANS.

Their latest album, 'Jhoom Barabar Jhoom', has strong Sufi and Punjabi sounds mixed with a lot of rock and ethnic influences. But composer trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy give the credit for the hit songs to two other people.

Producer Aditya Chopra and director Shaad Ali pushed the trio to bring out the rocking album, they say.

"Aditya has this amazing ability to pick out the kind of song that would be popular. He and Shaad really pushed us - as they did while making 'Bunty Aur Babli' - to create the music of 'Jhoom Barabar Jhoom'," said Ehsaan.

It's Bollywood, but with a distinctly London flavour.

A cast including some of India's biggest film icons, supported by more than 1,000 extras and 400 dancers, descended on the capital to film a movie described as "a madcap chick flick".

Jhoom Barabar Jhoom (Dance Baby Dance), which is released this weekend, stars Abhishek Bachchan alongside Preity Zinta, Bobby Deol and Lara Dutta. Bachchan's father, Bollywood legend Amitabh, also makes an appearance.

Yes, while you may not spot a single poster of this week's highly anticipated release Jhoom Barabar Jhoom outside the cinema hall, getting inside could be tougher.

"All shows till Tuesday are booked out because it's a big banner film and will be one of the biggest grosser of the year," said Terry Joseph, Manager, PVR Saket.

I was very excited to be paired opposite Abhishek - the last film we did together was Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost, almost two and a half years ago. I think he's one of the actors that I pair best with on screen, and he's really very adorable as a person. He has come a long way as an actor and is so fabulous to work with that you never know what is coming next.

We feed off each other's energy and it worked really well. He is also a fabulous dancer and it was a challenge to keep up with him. I think he went at Jhoom with a vengeance.
