The stilettos of once-upon-a-time Miss Indias have been treading the glitzy path to Bollywood for some time. Now Sarah Jane Dias, a pageant winner from two years ago, has got her ticket to B Town. She will be romancing Abhishek Bachchan in an upcoming action thriller, Crooked.

Finally, all speculation about the female lead in Rohan Sippy’s Dum Maro Dum has been put to rest. Bipasha Basu will be playing the glamorous junkie from Goa opposite Telugu star Rana Daggubati in the film. The film’s remaining star cast has been finalised earlier - Abhishek Bachchan, Pratik and Aditya Pancholi.

"I will be very happy if my book is transformed into a film... The love story
which has been described between me and Kaif Azmi, the way we spent life happily even in extreme poverty, would make a good film," Shaukat Azmi said at the launch of "Kaifi and I", translated by Nasreen Rehman from the original Urdu "Yaad Ki Rehguzar", here Tuesday.
