Abhishek Bachchan was put in an awkward situation by a journalist who asked a sudden, sharp and strange question in a press conference on Abhi’s goggles.

A journalist asked “Just for curiosity, I have a question that why film-stars wear goggles even in the evenings, nights or in dark places like this multiplex theater where we are sitting(watch the photo above). I just want to know why you are wearing goggles here?”

After couple of moments of halt with considerable shock, Abhishek replied “Is this a dark goggles? No this is not a dark glass goggles,”

Abhi showed his glasses with a smile on his face. It was a green framed big goggles with light tinted shade on glasses. Abhi was partially correct that glasses were not enough dark(watch the photo). However soon he realised that this much of defense was too little and not worth to convince the smart journalists.

So after a pause, Abhi continued “Actually I have not slept properly for last three nights due to extra ours of overwork and therefore I have covered my eyes. But if you don’t like this goggles, let me remove it.”

Abhishek removed his glasses from his eyes and asked a journalist in a request tone mixed with a tint of humor “Now, don’t ask me to remove anything else please”.


Media people present there couldn’t stop laughing on Abhi’s sense of humor. Still cameras were continuously flashing to cover Abhi’s plain eyes picture.

However after brief round of light atmosphere thanks to Abhi’s sense of humor, a journalist continued to show his interest in Abhi’s goggles and inquired about who had gifted that goggles. Revealing the secret, Abhi replied with a smile that the goggles in a question was his papa’s and he had stolen from papa today morning for Ahmedabad trip.

Smiles again traveled to the faces of journalists.
