It's cool, it's slick and it's edgy. It was just a matter of time before rap hit the Bollywood music scene. When Abhishek Bachchan rapped Say Na, Say Na, with Priyanka Chopra and a slew of sexy models draped around him, it caught the audience's imagination. The slick presentation and cool costumes helped. A trend began.
Vishal Dadlani, composer of Right Here Right Now, says the rap experience was great fun. "Even though hip hop existed earlier, it was nowhere as edgy as this. Now we hear rap everywhere, we go 'What have we done?' Sure, we'll do rap again, but it will be very different," he says.
All those who loved the different style of film making by Rohan Sippy in last year's 'Bluffmaster' have reasons to cheer once again! Why? Because the film is ready to be premiered on the small screen.
But what's so special in that, especially for those who have already seen the film? Well, the film would be shown with a number of 'unseen scenes'. These are the very scenes that were cut from the final version after failing to make it past the editing table. But in this case, the very old scenes are being projected as special attractions. Those who have caught the sneak preview of these scenes, picturised primarily on Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh, swear that they are a delight to watch.
