There is a sigh of relief for Abhishek Bachchan. His Dum Maaro Dum may not have set the box office on fire but it certainly has fetched one of the better responses, both commercially as well as critically, when compared to his last few films like Game, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se and Raavan. Now that there is an element of resurrection coming in, Abhishek can be found in a joyous mood while shooting for Players in Russia.

Under Rohan Sippy's direction, Abhishek Bachchan has played the classic romantic in Kuch Na Kaho opposite Aishwarya Rai, the über-cool conman in Bluffmaster, and now a cop with a dark past in Dum Maaro Dum. In this suspense thriller, Abhishek plays ACP Kamath, a hard cop searching for a drug kingpin but with some sin redemption of his own to take care of as well.

Abhishek Bachchan plays freedom fighter Surjya Sen in Ashutosh Gowariker's upcoming period flick, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey. In an interview, he talks about his experience working on the film. Excerpts:

It is Bachchan time in Bollywood again with the father-son duo of Amitabh and Abhishek sharing six National Awards among them (directly and indirectly).
