For almost everyone in the industry, working in a Yash Raj film is a matter of great prestige, even if it is in a miniscule cameo or an item number.

That was the case with Aishwarya Rai, who tangoed in tandem with Sr and Jr Bachchans in the highlight dance number 'Kajra re Kajra re' BUNTY AUR BABLI. Now it appears to be Abhishek Bachchan's turn to do an encore in Yash Raj's forthcoming SALAAM NAMASTE.

Abhishek's character is a closely guarded secret and insiders are tight-lipped. Surely, with the young fellow set to spring a surprise, it will only add to the mystique of the film. Salaam to Yash Raj!

After making a guest appearance in Hum Tum, Abhishek Bachchan will now be seen making a guest appearance in Siddharth Anand's film, Salaam Namaste.

The makers of the film have kept Bachchan's role under wraps. However, don't be surprised if Abhishek takes away Preity Zinta from Saif Ali Kahn, as he did earlier in Hum Tum, wherein he took away Rani Mukherjee from Saif.

If insiders are to be believed, Abhishek makes his entry only at the end of the film. This will be his third film in which makes a guest appearance, the first being in his mother Jaya Bachchan's film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Abhishek had a passing shot in the film, which unfortunately, got chopped off on the editing table.
